SETTING UP OF “COMPLAINT CELL” IN ZONAL OFFICES OF THE BANKS. REF: BRPD CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 11 DATED 26.07.2011.

Reference is made to BRPD CIRCULAR NO. 01 DATED 05.01.2005, it has been observed that the complaints against bank branches under the jurisdiction of Bangladesh Bank Branch Offices cannot be settled quickly as there is no Complaint Cell in the Zonal Offices of the banks like the Head Offices.
Therefore, you are advised to set up Complaint Cell in your Zonal Offices for prompt settlement of the complaints received.
You are also advised to send us the Name, Designation, Telephone & Fax No. and e-mail ID of the respective appointed officer(s) of the newly opened Complaint Cell in the Zonal Offices within a month from the date of this circular.
